PA The Supervisor

Overview
This course is designed to introduce PAs, EAs and Office Managers to the skills and knowledge necessary to deliver their responsibilities as supervisors and to help them develop in key areas such as leadership, staff management and motivation.

This workshop will benefit new supervisors or those developing into the role who would like guidance on good management practices and skills to become more successful.

Content
Through trainer input, group discussion and practical exercises participants will cover:

• What makes a successful manager
• Leadership verses Management
• Delegating work
• Dealing with difficult management situations
• Getting the best out of communication – inc teamwork
• Understanding the needs of others
• Getting the best out of people – including motivation
• Self awareness and understanding the emotions of others
• Managing people through change and transition
• Getting the best out of your team

The cost of the course includes all refreshments, as well as a hot à la carte lunch. You will also receive a certificate of attendance and a complete pack of course materials.
